I actually am don't get any paid leave at my job and my husband has not had a steady paycheck in almost a year. We have some money saved up. He says I could take 4 months but I'm not comfortable with that. I'm glad I've been working the whole time. I would have gone crazy sitting at home this whole time. Call me a workaholic if you will. My last day is 2 weeks before my due date and the last month is 30-25 hours instead or my usual 45 hours a week.

@valrocks, oh wow really? they'd only give you 6 weeks? sorry to hear that! I've been fortunate enough to not have to work at all this while pregnancy.

These updates are so crazy. I would like to know who has already gone on maternity leave at 29 weeks. Like you still have 10-12 weeks to go. I'd love to have 6 months of paid leave to spend resting and then taking care of the baby. I'm lucky I get to take 6 weeks off with the baby.
