I went to my OB this past Wednesday for my weekly checkup and she told me that I am 70% thinned and 2 cm. Question is am I going to go into labor before my due date July 21st if I am 70% thinned? you have to be 10 cm and 100% before pushing. so you have some dilating to do.

no. I'm at 6cm and 70% this past Tuesday. I will probably be near or more than 8cm when I go in on Wednesday for my next appointment, but not technically in labor until your contractions are consistent and your water breaks.

my ob said that thinning isn't really a big deal, its mainly your dilation that's important.
