What are everyone's thoughts on delayed cord cutting????

@tarateller2010 I'm planning on doing it with this baby. Everything I've read has really informed me on how great delayed cutting is for the baby :)

I think when I have my first baby I'm going to delay cord clamping. I've read that there's some really beneficial stuff that can come from it. seems the only reason to clamping the cord immediately would be if your child needs immediate medical attention. Other than that it can wait.

@cstrauser yeah I'm definitely doing it with my son. My husband and I are going to talk to my ob about it at the next appointment.

I brought this subject up a while back, after doing my own research I'm going to talk to my doctor about it, but I totally want to do it.
