I see you have doubles of a few things like the umbrella stroller- may want to narrow it down so you don't have to try returning one. Also, not sure if it will be the same for you but my sister said the bamboo nursing pads don't work- not absorbent enough. Great list!

@rgaine, thanks so much for taking a look! Yeah I planned on taking one of those strollers off; I know I'm going to need two however because my child's father and I don't live together and I don't trust anybody in his life (including him) with the ones I put on the list so I'll probably just get a cheaper one for them (and pray they don't destroy it like they do everything else they have and that I've given them) as well as for anyone else who may watch my child as it gets a little older. I kind of had to double up on a few things based on the fact that the baby will be living in my house with just me and my parents, but it's father doesn't want to move in but wants to be involved and will think me getting one of certain things will be "selfish" and try to claim that I'm not including him or his family. And okay! I'll definitely read some more reviews about those or maybe do one of those on my list to test drive and a second brand for if those don't work.

Ah, makes sense- but keep in mind that his family and him can also purchase things for baby on their own. Maybe they'll actually respect it more that way. (I hope) Yeah, I had the bamboo ones on my list too- took them off in favor of others for now but we'll see. She's an exclusive breast feeder and crunchy momma to 4 so for her to not use them when they're sustainable, etc made me stop and question. Definitely look at reviews just in case since we're all different. :-)

@rgaine, Im really hoping so. I wish it could be easy and I wouldn't have to worry about that but they don't show much interest but claim they're interested and care, so it's seeming like the only way I'll get any peace dealing with them is to just do it all myself so they don't have any space to talk. My subtle way of trying to tell them to step up and buy some stuff is putting his name on the registry and giving him the registry number to relay to them so they can't say I'm excluding them. And oh wow that's make me stop and wonder too! I'm for sure going to look into some other brands; I really liked the fact that their reusable. Thanks again so much!

@jc100495, yeah, that's good sharing it with him and the famil- good move. I'd invite them to everything too so they don't have excuses and if they show up, good. :-) yeah, I second the reusable idea- maybe ones without bamboo would work. Who knows. We should post that question on here!
