so I have decided that my son is not eating enough during breast feeding so I have chose to formula feed so my aunt feed him and I balled my Damn eyes out
Good morning ladies. Sorry I been ignoring yall but I have been so miserable the past days I'M STILL PREGNANT my contractions would be strong for hours and it looked like I was gonna have a baby then everything just stopped so I got sent home. they said I have to wait till my appointment Wednesday so I can talk to my doctor about the next step. I HATE THIS 😢😢😩
Breastfeeding. I am a HUGE breastfeeding advocate. No, I will NOT shame you if you decide to formula feed, and will not tolerate anyone else doing so on my post. Everyone has their own reasons on why they feed their child the way they see fit.
Raptor is doing GREAT!! He is off of everything (as you can see :)) except for a feeding tube and an IV!! I got discharged today so I could get to my baby boy! I got to hold him skin to skin and it was the most amazing thing I have ever experienced.
Hi I am into my 15 week now But since last two days am not having good feeling....I just feel something is wrong inside wid d kid...all my symptoms r too less Morning sickness is gone....Metallic taste of my tounge is also less....and I feel pain in my abdoman twice or thrice which is very minor though What should i do i am very confused Already have gone through 5 scans because of changing gynec Just feel that untill i hear the heartbeat or see my kid i wont b ok....got sleepless nights
Okay ladies what do you all think I should do I have a 3 in a half year old hes my son then he has a auntie that's 4 so of course they are very close ....so I feed my son breakfast lunch and dinner everyday but when they are around eachother I ask my son are you ready for lunch and then his auntie says I want lunch to but it's like I have my own 2 kids to worry about and why should I have to feed your child when your her mom shes your responsibility this gets so annoying to me because everytime my child eats I go ahead n feed her because she continues to ask and then her mom ask me can I fix her somthing and I say yeah from trying to be rude

positive juju headed your way @izzywaylon2016 and supplementing is fine, I was supplementing when my daughter came home from the hospital (my milk was delayed due to my c-section )

I understand as well.... I was also depressed I felt like I was failing at everything and couldn't get nothing done or do anything. But I new it was all for a good reason. For your baby to feel comfortable and happy. So never think you are alone in this process because there are so many other struggling as well☺️ and I bet you will always have someone there to talk to about these things if you ever need help!! But giving him formula now is not a bad thing!! That's why they invented it. ☺️ I hope things start to get better for you and a lil easier!! Because they do I promise!!

I have a big support system and he is gaining wait well he did when I took him to the 1week check up I'm not completely giving up I'm going to only formula feed him once or twice daily just to give my self a break @sarahdrew

sorry for all the questions @izzywaylon2016 I don't want you to feel like I'm pressuring you into keeping up the breastfeeding.... it is 100% tour choice

I understand mama, when my daughter goes thru one I feel like I'm never going to sleep or accomplish anything... I swear it does get easier... is he gaining weight? ..... do you have a support system at home? do you have a lactation consultant?

@taybugg40, if it wasn't for me already being depressed bc of him eating all day and night then I wouldn't mind it but I think it's best

That's how I was Hun. I constantly thought my son was not getting enough. He was on me all night and all day.... And I couldn't even pump an oz!! I thought I was failing my son. But with every doctor app. And sleepless nights and long days with him constantly on me my milk my real full milk slowly came and produce more and more and more. I constantly ( to this day as well) breast feed all day and pump as much as I can when he is not on me to keep my supply going and to this day sometimes I can't pump an oz and sometimes I can pump 4 to 5. I believe in you Hun. Don't give up! It is hard but I believe you can do it ☺️

do you pump right after he eats? cuz that's normal to only get that much, especially until milk is regulated.... and he could be going thru a growth spurt and having cluster feeds (unless he's done that since birth).... I applaud you mama,you tried it.... as long as baby is fed then that is what's best....

well I have tried pumping multiple time with hand and automatic pump and I only get 1oz from both breast he will nurse for 15-40 mins and fall asleep for 5-15 mins wake up and eat again @sarahdrew

just out of curiosity, why do you think he isn't eating enough?
