lost two huge chunks of my mucus plug...one this morning and embarrassingly another at my in laws house. I had to flush twice due to the ridiculous amount of toilet paper I had to use to clean myself up... my back has hurt all day and my lower belly feels like there's so much pressure and of course my butt hurts when he moves...my dr. said I was 4 cm on Thursday and said he wanted to hear from me when my contractions are 5 minutes apart... ugh I seriously don't know what to do

I would just go to hospital. being in active labor starts at 4cm - they should at least be able to admit you
some people describe their contractions as cramping! if anything just go to the hospital and say I am in a lot of pain and really uncomfortable see if they will check u out

@warfordmomma, I would call him but he just told me to call when I'm having contractions...I'm not contracting I'm just crampy so I'm trying to wait it out..being at 4 cm dilated I wish I could just go to the dr. And they would keep me but I'm not sure how that works
call ur doctor explain what's happening maybe they can tell u what to do
They will give an epidural at 4cm... I'd say go. Chances are they will admit you.
