Can wearing a sports bra keep my milk from producing? I'm just curious cause I haven't leaked any…

Okay cause I read something about wearing one if your not breastfeeding for compression @michellevaldez4750 and all of my bras are too small on me and I can't afford a new one

They'll definitely help when you're trying to dry up. The compression will help with the pain and by keeping them in place so tight it might keep them from getting stimulated and producing milk. I never really thought of that.

oh, you mean as far as producing milk while still pregnant? that I don't think it would help. I could be wrong, after baby is born they're more comfortable if you're not breastfeeding and want to dry up quickly

I gave birth on sunday, have been wearing two sports bras at a time that fit on the very snug size. My breast are HUGE AND HARD but are not leaking at all.. If that helps any.

@marleas.mommy, right! it doesn't hurt try. I only leaked when I took showers. other than that I was pretty lucky. @babywhale
