Moms who have formula fed- help!! My daughter is 5 days old. We were giving her 2 oz every 3 hrs then it seemed she was still hungry so we increased to 3 oz every 3 hours. Every night at 3am she is STARVING and takes more. She took 5oz-6oz in one feeding last night. What I am reading says it's ok, they will stop when they have had too much. It's only that one feeding. Isn't that a lot to give her this young? Too much?

Thank you @Kaydensmommy5! Yeah I can tell after a "normal" feeding sometimes she is definitely not full at all. She usually does stop herself eventually/ thank goodness 😌 @valerie_jean so is my daughter!! I think she gets it from me! I ate all day when I was pregnant with her :)
@brooklynsmom, They stop when they are full. You had a bigger baby so she may require a little more than the "normal. "

Not really, if she wants it and can handle it without throwing it back up, it's fine. My son would have feedings where he would eat a significant amount more than usual feedings.
