They felt like pain in a certain area and sorta hard depending on how long it's been clogged. Bumpy. Redness and it hurts to nurse but will make it feel better. Offer that side first at each feeding and massage the boob downward towards the nipple. Showers help also and can hand express while in the shower! Good luck! It will pass. It may take a few hours until it feels better.

Sometimes there's a feeling like a muscle is being pulled and that could be it. It's like your boobs are getting use to breastfeeding. It happened to me sometimes in the beginning.

It sounds like what you're feeling is the let down reflex, does it happen close to the beginning of the feed and again every once in a while or is it constant from start to end? If the first was right, then that's the let down. Some women don't notice their let downs, some feel it as a tingling sensation, or a warming sensation....some think it feels pleasant, and there's people like me who have over active let downs and they feel pinchy and sharp lol it gets better with time, but still 7 months in and I get the pinchy feeling let downs, just not as bad unless I'm engorged 😜
