what hurt worser contractions or crowning/pushing?

The contractions!!!... To me the pushing felt really good, and I always expected it to be the other way around... But to be fair I only pushed 3 times, so it probably is a different story for the poor moms that have to push forever.

The contractions for me weren't bad at all until I got to 9cm-9 1/2cm .The pushing wasn't bad at all.

contractions. to me crowning had a "burning" sensation that came as relief because I knew the end was close at that point.

the worst part for me was not being able to push my baby out. Every push he would go down and after the contraction, he would slide back up the birthing canal....we did this for 4 hours before my doc pulled him out. it was excruciating but so worth it

Considering you are pushing while having the contraction defiantly the contractions I couldn't even tell when I was crowning

.....lol...pushing feels good until you feel the ring of fire....contractions in my opinion are not worse. maybe just as bad but i think pushing was worse. when i was pregnant with both of my girls i was fine until i had to push....i lost my mind at that point lol but everyones different.

I haven't had my baby yet, but I hear a lot of women say contractions hurt worse and normally pushing actually feels good.
