@tmfeduska I have no clue girl but the high risk Dr I have says the same along with every one in the practice maybe it's just a preference thing
@hermommy, that's exactly what my dr says too. I wonder why some say one thing and others another.
my doctor also says 37 @tmfeduska lol he said that never changed the only thing that changed is the law on when you can induce which is 39 I had him clarify so you are correct:)
@tmfeduska, you too!! 😊 Doctors need to either agree as a whole or not change it. Lol.
@lacybearden, to each their own. You can listen to your doctor and I'll listen to mine. Have a nice day.
A "term" baby isn't full term. 37-38.6 weeks is early term. 39-40.6 weeks is full term.
Congrats on the 3 kids. That changed 3 years ago. Full term is now 39 weeks.
No, look it up. Once you hit 37 weeks you are considered full term. Meaning in most cases that if baby decides to come they won't stop it. I have three children already and know for a fact 37 weeks it the earliest to be considered full term.
well I don't ever know when to start counting my contractions because I always think it is a false one a by time I realize it is way to late to even count them I hate it cuz I was the same way with my periods cuz they wad so irregular
You will be considered full term in just a a week. It could be a number of things, one of which could be baby wanting to come sooner rather than later. Call your dr first thing when they open or call your on-call dr at the hospital and see what they recommend. If you're not having steady contractions close together, they'll probably tell you to go see your regular doctor. Try taking a nice warm shower to help relax your mind and body and when you lay back down, don't lay flat, it worsens heart burn. Instead, prop up and listen to this rain we have and hopefully it will lull you back to sleep.
@hermommy, I was also thinking maybe a preference thing. Hmmm.
