4. 16 divided by 4 is 4. so I would say you've completed 4 full months and are heading into month 5

@candacelouise, Hahah yeah it is pointless to try to explain to someone that isn't pregnant. I tell them the weeks and they say "huhhh?" so I just say I'm eight months. And I'm gonna keep saying that until I'm 36 weeks, and then I'll say nine months.

@babymay2016, hahaha yes! I always say pregnancy is 10 months and people wanna argue! I'm like uh for one have you been pregnant? They just think oh 4 weeks = 1 month. No dumbie it's doesn't go like that throughout the whole pregnancy! Ignorant people. Ha not even worth my breath anymore. I was just looking at that cause I'm 33 weeks and thought I would be a full 8 months at 34 weeks but nope, it's not until 35 weeks.

@candacelouise, Lol whether you break it down that way, or this way, there must be three extra weeks. It makes a lot more sense to add a week onto the end of each trimester (3, 6, 9months) doesn't really matter which way you break it down 😂 I have found most doctors agree with this, and both charts posted are the exact same. It isn't logical to just make a month every four weeks, but I guess that's just my opinion.

I'm 31 weeks, so I have begun my eighth month, and won't be nine months until 36 weeks. It makes sense. Pregnancy is really closer to 10 months, not 9.

@babymay2016, yessss the last two months have 5 weeks! That's why so many people say you're pregnant for more than nine months. It's more like 9 and half

Yeah I use what @bkrettler11497 showed you. But if your really unsure ask your doctor because he's the only one that's really going to know. :) Congratulations! :) And I'm not to far behind you, I'm 13 weeks and 6 days Pregnant! :) @sarahwilliams

@candacelouise, Yeah it seems confusing in the beginning but this really makes a lot more since than just 4 weeks equals a month... cause that doesn't add up in the end.

There is basically an extra week in the end of each trimester. This is the only thing that makes sense to me and my doctor agrees with this.

Some people say they are a month when really they just STARTED that month. That's where you will find the biggest controversy @babymay2016
