has anyone had slightly rough sex to help dilation and such? does it cause complications

I'm 39 weeks im trying to soften my cervix so it could be easier for me to dilate and go into labor later

The protein from his sperm can bring on labor. Which is why my OB told us to not have sex. 😭😆

Roughness doesn't help you dilate. The semen is what makes your cervix thin out
