Really uncomfortable with the fact I requested no male doctors, nurses or med students due to previous sexual abuse and now there is a new male doctor in my OB office and they are forcing me to see him. I understood having to meet him once but now they won't schedule me with the female doctor

I would look for a new office. that's not right at all! did you explain why you only want female doctors?? Ive always been more comfortable with males but what you want matters! they shouldn't make you see someone you don't like.
I know what you mean I don't feel comfortable with a guy doing it and my ob doctor retired after seeing me one time and now I'm forced to see a male I have two kids already and I making my mom go with me cause I don't feel comfortable
@mrsdoyle, yes they know I have a history of sexual abuse and I'm 38 weeks so can't really switch now and even if I wanted to the only other one around here is 45 minutes away
