Girl, she's 3. She knows exactly what is going on. Just take the diaper off and if she doesn't feel like going to the bathroom, make her help clean up the mess. That's how I did my (now four year old), niece at 2 (had custody of her at the time). I also work in pediatrics and that's literally what I always do with every kid who's dang well old enough to know haha.

My mom took me to the store and let me pick out my own first panties. Then she explained what they were for and that I wouldn't want to mess them up. She made it special and it worked

big girl panties on and diapers gone. she'll get the hint pretty quick. expect accidents for a while...as long as she's staying dry most of the time, she's doing well. That's usually all it takes with 3 year olds. If that doesnt work,I would try to take advantage of a few days of you being home with her. Set an alarm for every 30 minutes the first day. Every hour until noon the next. Every 2 hours the later half of the day. And only when she says she has to on the 3rd. If she is having accidents, have her take off her clothes and put them in a dirty basket. hand her a pair of new undies to put on. Every time she hoes, reward her with a sticker or MnM. That's worked wonders for my moms if they have tricky kids. (preschool teacher....I potty train like a champ😉)

Here's her bio and general tips: Hello I am Ceiamaria I am a stay at home Mother to 4 children ages 12,8,7 and 11 months old. I am happily married for 12 years and we are still going strong. I am determined and driven for success FAILURE isn't an option for me. I potty trained my oldest at 9 months old. My 2 middle son's were more difficult they were between 18 months and 2 years old. My baby boy was showing interest in potty training, I decided to buy him a potty chair. Potty training tips 1.) Don't rush your child 2.)Don't yell at your child 3.) Don't punish your child for having accidents 4.) Don't give you child candy 5.) Don't compare other children to your child 6.) Do praise your child 7.) Clap your hands when your child goes to the potty. 8.)Take your child every 15-30 minutes to the potty 9.)Don't criticize your child 10.) I don't recommend pull ups but I don't bash mothers who decided to use them. 11.) Remember potty training is not taught in one day you have to be determined to potty train your child.
