I have a friend, she tells everyone that I'm her best friend... anywho when she texts me it's usually to complain about something in her life.... her soon to be ex husband did this or that (before and after they separated), tonight all she texts me is "I need/want to cry, been missing Lee a lot (her godfather whom passed away 2 years ago) and with everything that's been going on".... I told her to just cry it will make her feel a bit better... she said she has which is good.... but then she says "I had to ask Derek to leave" she had a friend living with her and her 3 year old son (my godson) who is a registered sex offender.... I flat out told her "he shouldn't have been living there to begin with".... she rarely asks how I am or how my kids are and it is starting to get on my nerves lol sorry for the rant but I just get tired of it lol

I have a "friend" like this... I've done so much for her and her kids, but she could care less about anything in my life :/ it sucks..

@littlemissrainesmommy, it does, at our gender reveal party last year she kept wanting my husband to announce that the next day was her n her husband's (now they are divorcing) anniversary... sorry but the day was about us and our daughter (and the 4th of July lol)

but then again I don't make friends easily so I hate losing the ones I actually have... I just hate when "friends" are like that...

@mommagotbump16, I didn't know this until recently when she told me her ex said if she brought up his drinking in court (I personally think he has a drinking problem) then he would bring up that guy living there... I looked at my phone when she told me and said the same you did "what the actual fuck??" I told her he should never have been allowed to move in.... her excuse? he didn't have anywhere else to go.... my next question is: don't they have to say where they are living? I mean all her public aid paperwork has her address and her son listed wouldn't that send up huge red flags to someone???!!! I am beginning to think she is a bit more than just bi-polar with ptsd, I think there are quite a few screws loose

@sarahdrew, I'd think so, but it's possible he's using another address to keep from getting in trouble. Sounds like she could use a psychiatrist. I had a friend who was my best friend in hs, but once we got to college she lost her mind. Hooked up with some younger guy who supposedly raped and attacked her, but she'd never leave or let us help. Then she had a miscarriage, quit school, and they ran away together. Just all kinds of nuts. We've tried to reconnect a couple times, but there's always some new insanity, and I'm tired of being called the bad guy when I point it out and say I'm not supporting you in that. Is that friendship something you still value enough to weather more crazy?

she is seeing a psychiatrist as far as I know for the ptsd.... we used to be super close but have drifted apart, mostly because she feels the need to party and pawn her son off on the girl who is supposed to just be his babysitter among other things.... I would like to remain friends, I just don't know how many more woe is me stories/texts I can take
