How do yall find time to sleep after work and balance being active with your baby?

it's been so hard! especially because she doesn't sleep through the night for my mom because she's breastfed although we doesn't usually wake up with me, but we Co sleep. so I worry if she's up crying and feel bad that my mom has to try to comfort her. luckily I work 4 miles from my mom's so I can run there if I need to. I put her to bed nap for like 2 hours then go to work and she's usually up when I get there. I also don't trust people with her yet. I hate napping while I know she's up but I had to today. I work 4 nights in a row, then have 5 days off and work 2 nights in a row. I was hoping to work like every other night

ok that's actually smart never thought of that. Yes daycare is so expensive and I don't trust them cause he can't talk in full sentences yet sk if something happened he couldn't tell me so I'd rather work nights cause I'd leave after he was in bed for the night and be home a hour to a hour and half before he woke up so I wouldn't miss anything. was it hard going back after Sadie even though it's night shift @steph11

Ido! well I just a week ago. I nap when she naps and this morning I put the baby gates up and slept on the living room floor for an hour, set a alarm. so I'd hear her or she's beat on me. I refuse to miss sadie growing up! plus it's not worth me paying for child care I'm better off not working.

Do you nap when baby naps? Do you get any sleep when you get in before baby wakes up? I'm just nervous and don't wanna pass out and not hear him and I don't wanna miss anything in my son's life so 3rd shift seems more reasonable for me to work instead of morning @airannamommy
