Put my foot down to her about the gender reveal and baby shower. Guess who no longer has to deal with the stress of either? Me. Mom said I can deal with it all. So fuck it I don't need the stress.

I'm actually doing my own baby shower with a friend of mine helping. so much easier.

And @jana.bear I'm not sure I want to do one at this point. Yeah it helps with baby things but no one was really thrilled about me being the pregnant one anyways so :/

Well you could do a couple things. A welcome home party for baby is always nice and you also get stuff. You do a baby registry and everything. AND everybody loves a new baby I don't care who you are. Then it's not about you it's about baby. OR you could throw a shower just to spite everybody. That's my favorite option. I feel like if you give up and throw in the towel and don't have a shower of some sort, it's almost like the haters win. Don't let the haters win. I printed my own invitations, I did an event invite on Facebook for everybody I didn't feel like spending .69 cents to print an invitation for at FedEx. We made all the decorations. We bought a case of beer for the dudes and champagne for the ladies.
