Am I the only one who thought it was crazy my doctor could tell my baby is head down without an ultrasound?

They have felt hundreds of baby's and know what their head feels like in our Bellys by pushing on it!! Cool huh

@shananaginsx, yes lol! I just didn't have a doctor like her with my first. So just learning new things it's just crazy but cool!

They can feel the head with their hands. I've had 3 tell me it's head down with out an ultrasound. Yesterday the midwife kind of gripped my lower abdomen and yes yup there is the head. They know what they are feeling for.

there's a site (turning babies I think) that teaches you how to map out how the baby is laying so you can even learn where everything on your baby is

Lots of practice lol! And like @emily18234 said there are websites to help too. Plus you kind of get the hang of it once baby starts kicking in one place frequently
