Anybody had a child birth with no epidural? I really want to have my baby with no epidural.
Wow. That's really good. Hearing stories like yours really makes me feel like I can do it. I wish I would've tried with my first but I was so scared. Lol but I know no meds is way better on the baby and me.
I was 15 when I had my first baby and he came fast so I didn't have time to get anything as well as my second son. my first son my water broke at 9 and the rest at 10 stayed home with contractions till 1230 am and had my son by 3:56 am, my second son my contractions started at 6 am it was my baby shower and so I pushed threw it that day but made it till 1230 pm hot to the hospital he was out by 126 pm lol my other 2 were induced so I was there all morning with them lol @celenarenee
@navywifej, yes! I hope I can do it or I'm going to be so disappointed in myself
@mommyof5kayla, wow! Strong mama! Lol my mom said she had both of my sisters without an epidural. And yes I just bought a treadmill so I'll be sure I'm on it daily. I had my daughter 5 years ago and I still have back problems! So I don't wanna make it worst. I was a young mom 16 . But now that I'm older I know I can manage the pain. Thank you!
@kazori, it really is that serious! I had to speak it myself countless times
@sugababee85, thanks for that because I tend to hold my breath I'm gonna have to remind myself every 2 seconds
no epidural or pain meds with first 3, no plans to have one with this one.
I had 4 kids no epidural trust me it's really hard I will say walk as much as you can to keep that baby moving and when it's time to have the baby try to keep calm and breath threw it all because it is painful I hate needles so for them to put a big ass needle in my back ummm nope I'll pass any day on that lol try to take naps in between contracts try not to have alot of people in your room and keep stress free and much as possible I'm telling you ladies it's not east at all imma have my 5th baby and I'm not getting any drugs and if you are already 7 to 8 cm and the doctor says to get it tell them no because they did that to my sister and by the time they came in to give it to her she was fully dilated amd my nephew was coming and they broke his collet bone when he was born they were lucky to not break his neck
@tamayobaby, im a big baby with pain as well when i used to get period cramps i used to take pain killers so fast i just did not wanna feel that damn pain lol
@celenarenee, them breaking my water didn't hurt it was the contractions after they broke my water I felt because like I said my epidural stopped working for me so they just removed it because no matter how much they gave me it wasn't working for me so I just went without
@celenarenee, thats how i feel like so many women did it before without medication why cant we?
*hold... I weighed 350 at time of birth
@celenarenee, they broke it for me because it wasn't breaking but I was already 6cm dilated and I stayed at 6cm from 2:50am when I went in till shortly after they broke my water at 7am
I did it. It was harder bc I was induced. the pain was serious but I just thought of the outcome. also it was easier to manage when someone would tell me the contraction was coming. they also pointed out when it was at it's peak. make sure to breathe no matter how big the contraction bc if you hopd your breath the pain is even worse the next time. I did it with hbp and I 350 lb
throught my contractions i didnt fight it i just fid breathing techniques and it worked it didnt stop the pain but it hwlped me get through it
@mia_ivana, wow really. I didn't feel anything with my epidural . I was asleep when my water broke.
i had my second without epidural and my first with epidural and let me tell you i felt like i could take any pain after labor i felt like i could accomplish anything lol and im a big baby when it comes to pain
I think one of the keys I've heard and am going to try to use is to not fight the process the intensity of the contractions had a purpose it will not last forever but the more your afraid and fight it the harder it will be for you to progress as your body will fight itself back instead of just trying to relax and stay calm as much as possible knowing that it will be over soon ! Kind of how animals have birth they go where there safe and can relax to let there body do its thing it's not a hysterical event how humans portray it.. If yours body doesn't feel safe and relaxed calm it will take longer for the rest of your cervix everything else to open up..Now again I've never had a baby so let's just see how it goes next month lol @navywifej
I had my first with a epidural. But I REALLY don't wanna do it this time. I just think about how ppl before never had any pain meds and that I feel like we have it easy. It's all natural our body's know what to do just have to learn how to cope with the pain.@navywifej @kazori
They gave me a epidural but when they broke my water it stopped working so they took it out and offered to do another one but I said no so I basically had her naturally Im not going to lie I was pretty miserable through it all from 7am-9:42am but after my daughter was born I really didn't feel anything I was just worried about her
Same here girl I'm a FTM I'll let ya know how it goes next month 😩🙆🏾😅
ill be checking these comments out, i want one without but im so scared :( the way they talk about the pain

Me and my princess first time getting epidural and I’m numb from legs is this normal i can’t walk good yet

How many mamas had a natural birth? (No epidural, or failed epidural)
HES COMING LADY'S!!!

Thoughts on epidurals?
Lol every woman can do it my sister was hell in her labor she was in labor for 24 hours with an epidural and other drugs nothing could get my nephew out lol she was in so much pain and she tore from front to back she couldn't sit down for a month no lie she had the worse labor I have ever seen from any one she said no more kids for her lol and she walked and everything but she was really tiny and my nephew was almost 9 lbs lol so a huge baby coming out is not good lol @celenarenee
