I notice you post pictures of middle eastern type foods.. Are you of Arabic ethnicity? I never had middle eastern foods :( I wish I try them but there is nothing around where I live. I'm a culture geek.. I have a whole Pinterest board on anything Moroccan and Indian. And many others from buildings, fabrics, colors, architecture, to make up looks. I don't know why I'm so driven towards the Middle East culture but I am! I even got a DNA test just to see what ethnicity I have. But the only closest I have is Spain, Portugal, Italy, and Rome.

@ashipoo1, I'm not Middle Eastern but our cuisine pretty much similar ... Many people have no clue about Uzbekistan because used to be part of Sovet Union .. Uzbek DNA thru the century's been mixed with Mongols , Arabs , Persian and Turkish .

@ashipoo1, there is many big scientists and famous people in the history from there ... Many Arabs think those people Arabic , have no clue they come from Uzbekistan.. It's because in old time people spoke many languages and also including Arabic .

@ashipoo1, just a give u clue some type of Uzbek cuisine ... It's our traditional brick oven we call Tandir .. We make bread and meat onion filled pies inside the tandir.

@ashipoo1, we produce a lot of dry fruits and it's part of the tradition to have in our table when we have guest .

@ashipoo1, there is always gonna be with any food tomatoes , cucumbers, radish , cilantro and sour yogurt on the before serving the food as appetizers

Also mixed of different style of food here .. Uzbek culture love food and it's part of the tradition that they offer u and u can't reject .😅
