I'm concerned about my due date. My last actual period was August 5th but I had spotting in September 5th, which lasted about a day or 2. My doctor originally gave me the due date of May 12th but after the ultrasound gave me the due date of June 8th. Am I 30 weeks or 34 weeks? Could my baby just be measuring small?
Thank you so much . I'm praying she doesn't come yet but can't stop it if she does . @breloya I'll let you know
Okay, good. Tell me how it goes! ❤️ I'm hoping you don't have a baby because with either due date, you're a little early. In case baby does decide to show, I hope you have a safe and healthy labor/delivery.
Oh trust me I know !! I just called and he wants me to go back to l&d @breloya
If you're bleeding, you should call your ob. Mine always scheduled an appt for me to be seen if I was bleeding anytime during pregnancy. There's no reason you should have to sit around worrying, when you have a doctor who's suppose to answer any questions you may or may not have.
It's also completely possible that you happened to fall under one of those rare occurrences where you get a horrible doctor though.
I don't think it'd benefit your doctor any to withhold that information from you, if it were true. I'd still go by the dating scan, as it's the most accurate. I can't be of any further assistance here, so I'll see myself out.
Yes but like I was asking I think she's measuring small . I honestly think I'm further along and I'm starting to think my doctor knows that but won't tell me @adamsbaby2016 @breloya
You can have signs of labor two months before your due date. I would go by your ultrasound. Doctor didn't say?
Mine started becoming regular so I have no clue what to go by @cmbwalker
I'm in the same boat. According to lmp my due date should have been April 16 but after the dating scan they pushed it to May 18. I'm going by the ultrasound because my periods were very irregular.
I just want to know how far I am . I've been having a lot of labor symptoms lately so I want to know if I'm further along . @breloya
At the dating scan, it should have been early in pregnancy. Babies generally grow at the same rate in early pregnancy. It's later when growth may speed up or slow down and one might have a bigger or smaller baby. Because some babies will be born 5 pounds or 6/7/8 pounds, etc.
The dating scan is more accurate than going by lmp. Some women have irregular periods or may not even remember their true last start of their period and may just guess.
Good luck. 💪🏼
