serious question ; How do you feel about having your mother-in-law in the room when you give birth? my moms gonna be there, and my husband. He never said he wanted his mom there, but, I thought that it would be nice to have her there as his support not just mine. thoughts???

I'm having my mom, husband, and mother in law in the room when I give birth. I'm gonna give them specific instructions NOT to say anything stupid to piss me off 😂😂😂

I have a scheduled C-section, and only my sister will be there. Both my mom and my sister's fiance's mom want to be there, and I said no. I have more of a bond with my sister than anyone else.

I was gonna have my MIL hubby and SIL in my delivery room and they were all excited but my MIL passed before I had my son so it ended up being.hubby and SIL in my room I thought it'd be awkward but my SIL helped me alot more than my hubby did. me and my SIL are actually closer now than we were before

I had my MIL, mom, sisters and husband. It was very special. I gave both at home so that a little different since there is no people limit. At the moment you're not even embarrassed because you're so focused on the birth. I think it creates a bond and sweet memories.

I agree with @_kmoss.madisonsmommy_ my grandmother passed away in July and new how terrified I was that I couldn't have kids and knew it was the only thing I ever wanted. I didn't have another period after she passed. I was pregnant . When God takes one away he gives another in return! Good luck to both of you ladies 💙 @queenelsa0408

I'm sorry for your loss. and the emotional support from any mother figure seems appropriate for the occasion, I just didn't know how many mothers did that. your mom is always with you, in your heart. think of it this way, ( IDK your beliefs but) god sent your little bundle to you bc it's your moms way of saying I'm here. 💙 I lost my grandpa to cancer, & he came to me in a dream and told me he give me a surprise. didn't know what it was til I missed my period by 12 days. lol. babygirl is a blessing. @queenelsa0408

I think that would be a great idea I think you will want that mother figure as support for yourself as well as your husband.

@_kmoss.madisonsmommy_, @dukesmommy22 I was going to ask the same question. Only difference is that I don't have my mother. She passed away when I was 11 years old. So I was thinking of having my mother in law and my husband in the room during the delivery.

I am very close with my mother in law. I invited her for support for him and I. I think it's a great bonding experience .
