Been off sick from work due to anxiety and depression, just been paid and only got £350 :/ looks…

I'm the exact same, I find it rubbish! I'm only contracted 16 hours a week, but in my whole time there I've always worked 30 hours + and have asked for my contract to be upped to match that, I've been of sick for 3 weeks now and been told I'll get paid 16 hours a week on ssp, it ridiculous! xx

It's horrible, I'm basically being forced back because I can't afford to live, I normally earn just under a grand a month and I've been paid £353, that's £88 a week :/ not going to make my anxiety and depression any better any time soon :/ I don't know what else we can do @lolliigee xx

I'm sure due to it being long time sickness, you can apply for a benefit from your local council/job centre, due to you not being able to live on that wage, might be worth looking into? @briony1994 xx

I've been advised by the doctor to make an appointment with citizens advice, just hope I can get an appointment before I have to go back to work :/ @lolliigee xx
