I went through the exact same thing living with my mil & not wanting to go back home because my husband didn't want too. So sorry Mama try not to stress. It'll all work out.

@mrs.fernandez, how did you deal? I was getting adjusted to it but now that my baby is here feels like she wants to be involved with a lot with the baby but he says she's just trying to help us and help me since I had a rough labor but since I wish it was my mom that would be helping me and experiencing all this with me it's really difficult and feels like a grandma rivalry which I'm hating even if it's not like that. We have a year lease (10 months to go) I'm not sure I see myself living with her another year. I'm trying really hard not to stress out

It was so hard for my I would cry & cry I hated being there & I would stay in my room all day with my baby. She would want to hold him & it would make me so mad because her dogs would be all over my new born baby. So, I would always go to my moms house & hang out over there & I literally only went home to sleep ( plus my moms wanted to take care of me since I just had a baby) because my hubby worked. So that helped a lot. When my baby got older it got much better. You can't stress over something you can't control. Always Remember it's your baby, you say what goes. Just think about the wonderful gift you just brought into this world don't stress too much Mama 😘

@mrs.fernandez, we have a year lease which started in February and I'm torn if I want to stay only because of my daughter and being with him but idk how long I'm going to take it these feelings have been here since we moved together n has gotten worse with baby blues. Just feels like she's trying to be superior grandma even if he says she's not. I'm taking my baby over to my moms because she's not comfortable being here if my mil is going to hover and there would be no privacy for us to have bonding time. Did she always try to help out if she heard your baby crying? She atarted the first 2 days n it got annoying. I know I'm a ftm but I want to do things on my own for my daughter

Yes she did! Omg she would just walk into our freaking room it would piss me off so bad. Until my husband finally told her too back off. Just let her know no hard feelings but that's your baby.

man i wish i had my mil to help out we are the opsit she never comes around she lives 30 minutes away nd her other kids live an 1hr away nd she passes by our house to get to her other kids but never ever stops by to see my boys barley calls us just messages us on FB saying give my babies a kiss for there tita nd tell them i love dem man while im over here telling the kids shes busy she working making excuse for her we hav has our own place for a while now nd his side of the faily has only came around like five times we always make time to go visit them they say we live to far and idk what i k ow its hard but sometimes you have to be thankful you have you mil by your side yes sometimes they can over do it but just tell them let me be the i am to my baby take there advice's nd what not nd just express how you feel like @mrs.fernandez said she is your baby nd say no hard feelings she will understand nd you as a 1st time mommy need to do it o. your own for when you move out @jaaym_
