I had my son at 37 he didn't have any problems if they left him in till 38 there would have been a chance he would have been born still born

no they want you get to atleast 36 weeks if you can!

At 37 weeks your baby is full term. It's normal to give birth between 37 and 40 weeks

Yeah my liver shutdown so I have no choice they induced me but he was fine he was 7 lb only issue is his kidney but that had nothing to do with him coming early

@mommytobe98, full term is 39 weeks. Early term is 37-38 weeks.

@rcbaby1, as long as there are no complications, it really is better to wait. Baby's lungs are still getting stronger from 37 weeks on, and the weight gained during that time helps with temperature regulation after birth. Those are just a couple examples, but even just another week in will be great for baby. Hang in there mama!

Not from what the nurses told me.

I just turned 37 last week and had my baby at exactly 37 weeks he was ready to come out he was born six pounds healthy and strong we actually went home the next day.
