So this might sound really weird, but anytime I've heard someone has had their baby weather I see it on Facebook, on this app, or visit them in person my first thought is ALWAYS what is their labor story? How did it go? Like every detail of their experience. I know It's strange but labor stories interest me a lot. So, that being said, what was your story starting with how you knew you were in labor. Ready, go!

I love all these stories. I have 2 babies under 2 and their labor stories are COMPLETELY different, and I am currently pregnant with my 3rd and can't wait to see what this labor experience holds! 😊

with my daughter I went over. went to the Dr on my due date had a membrane sweep. lost my mucus plug that night. woke up the next morning did my usual went and made a bowl of frosted flakes and was literally pissed cause I felt like I had just peed everywhere so I stand up and it pours out and I'm like seriously dude wtf. then I realize it's my water. wake up my husband who's only reply is well can I shower before we head out. like yeah sure go right ahead. get to the hospital only at a one. they induce me twice to help dilation... still no progress but hellacious contractions. give me pain meds thay have me in and out of Conciousness and it turns out I'm allergic. << lovely right. so I get an epidural at midnight and I'm only at a 2 the man literally sticks me three times and finally says that's as good as its gonna get. like are you serious. he leaves telling me am epidural is optional and he would not rush back. so after an hr with still no rest because the lady in the room beside me chose a natural no medication birth is screaming her head off my epidural wears off and I'm back in pain. he finally comes back bumps up the dosage but at this point It's not doing anything. my Dr comes in and tells me to push thay I'm at an 8 but it would help. so at 555 am my daughter is born after 22 hrs of horrible labor.

Started at 36 ish weeks I started having contractions every few days and small ones while at work one day I was at work having really bad contractions at work (March 4th) so I made it my last day and went to the hospital and again they said it was just Braxton hicks even tho some of the mucus plug came out days before. March 9th at 10 am I was having pains in my lower abdomen and so I felt like I had to pee so as I'm getting out of bed 😰🌊 my water broke. I was in labor from 10am til 12:02 am I was able to withstand the contractions up until 7 centimeters dialated and I was deathly afraid of the epidural but it came in handy....Pushing was the east part the contractions is the tough part. At 11:40 the nurse came in and said I was fully dialated and right after she checked me she walked out and went to take her lunch(I wanted to punch her in the face for doing that) and just 10 mins later I felt like I needed to push (felt like you have to take a poop that you can't push back in ) and she FINALLY came back all happy go lucky and I was pissed by this time its 11:50 something and I pushed twice and at 12:02 am having my first baby was a success even tho they said I might have to have a c section of he didn't turn (our spines were rubbing together)

Ever since I was 36 weeks I have been getting my cervix checked because she showed signs of wanting to come early. When I was 37 weeks they told me I was dilated to 1 cm and repetitively tell me the same thing every week after. Well February 1st I started having contractions pretty irregular, so I continued with my plans for the day. By noon they were regular and painful! I have always been told that FTMs have a longer labor usually and my hospital was an hour away so I decided to hold off on going until I had reached 7 hours of regular contractions that were 5 minutes apart. Whenever we got her they checked me and told me that I was still at a 1. I was highly disappointed. But was told to come back under certain requirements, we decided to stay at a hotel just to be close. Ended up coming back in when my contractions were 2 minutes apart and becoming unbearable around 2 in the morning. They said I was still at a 1. HOW?! I was in too much pain but they didn't want to admit me until I was at a 5?! Dr finally realized that my body isn't working quite right and I needed help. So after 2 hours of aweful contractions I was finally at a 2 when they decided they could maybe admit me. Then my body acted up like it usually does when under so much stress. I had a seizure. This got the doctors attention. . they put me on magnesium to make sure I didn't have another one but that is also what is used when they need to stop someone from having contractions so I was also put on pitocin to counter act. The Doctor broke my water and this really got my body going. But yet behold there was only more and more pain. I asked for an epidural as soon as I could and they conveniently forgot so I had to remind them. I had to wait forever for the guy to get here but when he did I was finally starting to feel relief. I would sleep very good and as I got farther along they started to wake me up. It was finally that time I was completely dilated but she hadn't moved through the stations which like they wanted her to.. they started getting worried for her heart rate was dropping. very low.. almost went back for an emergency c-section but I wanted her here and I did the best I possibly could because it was all on how I did to get her out into the world. After 45 minutes of pushing and a 2nd degree cut from an episiotomy. My bright eyed little girl came into the world and it was like nothing mattered from that moment on

Yessss I'm the same way lol!! I woke up the day after my baby shower with cramp like pains and at first I thought I was dehydrated so I drank a HUGE glass of water but my pains didn't stop then I thought maybe I had to take a huge crap so I remember sitting on the toilet trying to push my shit out but nothing came out 😂 so I laid in bed for about a half hour until finally I told my BF that I couldn't take the pain anymore. We went to the ER around 8am they admitted me and by 10am I got my epidural and it was amazing!! I didn't feel a thing until around 2pm when they had me start pushing they turned down the epidural and by 336pm the same day I had my 8lb 4oz son at 38 weeks 😊
