So I had an appointment today and found out a few things, they are going to take little Michael early at 39 weeks, I'm not sure why and the lady I seen today wasn't either but I have a ultrasound scheduled with my ob in 4 weeks so I'm going to ask him, I have to get ultrasounds every 4-6 weeks now to track his growth and starting at 34 weeks I have to go to the hospital once a week to get nonstress tests done, they are scared I'm gonna develop preeclampsia in my third trimester because my blood pressure has been high throughout my whole pregnancy, it was normal at my last 2 appointments but they said your blood pressure usually spikes back up in the third trimester so they want to watch me closely.
I did non stress tests 2x a week for the last 4-5 weeks with my first son and was monitored for preeclampsia, they wanted to induce me a week early and I told them to F off. With my second my blood pressure was perfect until 28 weeks, I was hospitalized and had an emergency c section at 29 weeks because of severe preeclampsia and HELLP syndrome. At least your doctors are taking necessary precautions and are monitoring you. I found NST to be kinda cool. It was a bonding experience for me.
*I'm sorry...you haven't been diagnosed with preclampsia. High blood pressure is what I should have put.
Yeah I figured it's because they think he will be big.
