Mommas who have been induced:

Mommas who have been induced:

Did it suck? My husbands aunt has three children. Two were spontaneous labor and one was an induction. She said the induction was the worst thing she had ever been through and sucked way worse than the other two. If my son doesn't come on his own I'm getting induced at 6am Friday morning. Is t gonna be that bad?!

no, it's not as bad as everyone makes it out to be. I had the oral pill, the balloon, and pitocin.

she could have just had a really bad experience. I went into labor on my own so idk what induction is like but I imagine its different for everyone

I went into labor on my own with my first but they did give me pitocin still to keep things going. With my second I was induced the whole time and it was the best ever.

I was induced. It's all I know though, so I can't compare to natural labor. But I have heard that induction hurts worse. I couldn't stand the pain and I couldn't relax so I was dilating quick enough. They gave me the epidural at 3cm and I relax and dilated to 9.5 in like 5 hours. Epidural helped my body relax

Induction Now, I doubt I will need to be induced. But it's still my fear that I will need to be because of an emergency or if I go too far past my due date. My question is, has anyone ever been induced and been able to do the rest med free? All I hear is horror stories from induction that end in back labor, or contractions so painful and long that the mom needs an epi and sometimes C sections. My goal is med free but I realize that things can change.
