I'm scared about these contractions can any of u ladies tell me how it started and how did u know and what were u doing at the time the contractions started did your body give u some type of warning I'm a ftm. and I'm 39 weeks Friday I had bh once some weeks ago but that's it I haven't felt anything at all really in this pregnancy ive also felt cramping like menstrual cramps twice too but that was it.

@josiah16, just basing it from my experience yes definitely but no labor experience is really ever the same
With my first pregnancy I was at Walmart walking around and I started to get alot of pelvic pressure and strong back pain to the point where I kept bending over because it hurt a lot. I went home and took a nap with my husband and my back still kept hurting and so I called my dr and she said it could be contractions but wasn't sure since it was only back pain. But then after a hour I felt like I had to poop and the dr said she wanted me to come in and that's when I found out I was in labor.
with my first 2 pregnancies my stomach would tense up really bad and with my 3rd all i had was terrible back labor that being said im hoping with this pregnancy there won't be any back labor
I knew I was having contractions when my stomach was tightening out of nowhere ... I timed the heavy pain once they were 2-3 mins apart I knew for sure baby was on his way! .... I could barely walk , couldn't sleep , and I was constantly using the bathroom almost every 15 mins ... It's like your body knows what's happening so it flushes your system... And I also lost my mucus plug so that's when I went to the hospital Asappp

you'll know when they start. I had just gotten out of the shower when mine started. its like BH but all over your belly and cramping in your back and lower abdomen, pressure in your vagina. I also got short of breath every time they came on. they last for about a minute and get stronger as they get closer together
when did Braxton contractions start for you ? I'm 28 weeks and I haven't felt anything??

I know I've posted this before but when your water was leaking did it stay leaking or just with movements or what? Did you get contractions shortly after or no? I rolled out of bed and felt warmth leak out but Idk if it was possibly urine or what...never had it happen. It didn't smell like anything really...I know I should either call l&d or go in but I just want some experiences please. I want to wait a bit just in case it's nothing.

So I never felt any contractions with kiddo. I have some cramping right now that feels like I'm about to get my period. Is that what contractions are? Should I start timing these with my app?
