I know what tricare is I'm a military brat and wife I definitely have it I'm gonna see because I think they did say they were gonna do a test for any genetic problems. But I don't have to pay just as well as you ☺️ @hayzie14

You don't usually find out until 20 weeks.. I took the blood test to find out, but that was only cause my Tricare insurance covered it all. (And you don't get Tricare unless you're military) if you do the genetic panorama blood test, it's usually a couple thousand dollars unless you are a high risk pregnancy. The absolute earliest you can find out is taking that blood test at 10 weeks and getting your results at 12 weeks.
Be patient! You don't have that long to go until you find out! A regular ultrasound won't even be able to look at your baby until 20 weeks (and that's even if your baby is at a good enough angle to clearly tell) trust me, save the money and just wait.

It's normal to find out around 18-22wks. If you want to find out earlier then you can pay to go to an elective ultrasound place (I did and found out at 16wks). Those blood tests that tell the sex are the free cell tests and they *usually* don't give you those unless they think the baby is at risk for a genetic problem. I had to get that test done because my original blood test came back elevated for a genetic risk. Be explicit with your Dr-most of those 1st/2nd trimester appointments are short and non exciting.

@shayyliynn I would girl, maybe she doesn't understand how bad you want to know there are 3 different blood test you could have done along with being able to tell on an ultrasound

@shayyliynn you can definitely find out earlier than both 13 and 16 :/ there is no reason to wait until 20 even if it is normal
