Looking into these universities for psychology online courses and damn does it cost a lot per credit. We're doing good but we don't have it like that, not with a baby on the way.

Guess I'm still on the search. I can be a stay at home mom, but I can't be a stay at home mom with nothing to fall back on.

Not yet, I have FSA I.D and updated it but I haven't submitted it. Won't do so until after January 1st. I don't plan on going back until spring 2017 so the applications for spring aren't even available yet.

I go to Ashford university online and financial aid pays for mine. It's a great online and they don't overwhelm you with class...I sign in on The first day of class, then on Thursdays and Monday's and that's it. 1 class every 5 weeks and I'm considered full time and I graduate in February with my bachelors.

Are you starting a program or just needing the major classes because you have taken the basics already?

@kreshy, starting a new program. I was in nursing back in 2013, but I don't have the same passion for it anymore. Psychology is where my heart is at right now.

Take coursera online freebie classes to keep your brain active until you can afford college?

@raegenice, I was just going to suggest to maybe look into going to a local community college online at first. its usually cheaper there and you can knock out preqeqs and basics. Then you can transfer. But most definitely complete your FAFSA. That is the main component there. And you can add you unborn as a person in the household. And the sooner you can do it the better if is for the next year. Most schools do their awarding of not just federal but any institutional aid or scholaships based off early FAFSAs.

@kreshy, sadly there aren't any good local schools nearby or with the program I'm looking for. Thank you though 😊
