I kinda liked having the c sections but boy it leaves that lil.pouch in your tummy right above the c section scar that won't go away😢😢😢 also recovery is a lot longer and painful..
@babyreeves, I know that there's always a risk of having a bad vaginal delivery. my step sister pushed so hard that she broke a vein down there and it was so painful for her to even walk and sit. she's the only person I know that has had a hard delivery/recovery. my first son did hurt tho after, I could feel them giving me stitches, and it hurt so bad to walk after, even months after it was still sore if I stood for a long time. and my second son , I didn't get no stitches and was at the store two days later and doing laundry the same day I was home, but with both I didn't feel the rip, just a bunch of pressure, but the second time I did feel the stretch when the head came to surface which I didn't want to push after that lol. but I don't think I'd ever want a csecection after what everyone says about it.
@kelseys, I'm glad you didn't feel it when you ripped! lol. I felt it, and I also felt much more than just pressure when pushing the my son out. I also had to have a catheter with my vaginal delivery...Every ones birth is different and everyone's body heals differently. I honestly had a difficult time healing from my first sons birth and also bled for much longer than I was supposed to. I was scared to think I needed a csection with this pregnancy, but almost relieved. Baby turned at 39 weeks, so I won't be getting one now and I was honestly kind of disappointed.
I'm feeling the same way Bc my first was 28 hours of torture/pain after being induced. Kinda feeling like just take it out when it's time kinda torn
If you don't mind me asking I'm from uvalde about a hour away from San Antonio. Who is your doctor I chose to pick a doctor in sa @pb14baby16
@analysahdz, hey I wanted a c section with my first and under certain circumstances I had to have one either way the recovery process was REALLY fast and I honestly was even in that much pain as most people are explaining it. I was basically up and moving the day after my c section 3 days after I had her I was on the via bus carrying a stroller and a carseat with a 6lb baby in there plus a diaper bag with no struggle. my dr prescribede some medicine for pain i didnt even take them because i felt GREAT, i gave them to my sister in law because she was in horrible pain after her c section 18dayw after i had my daughter. dont let anyone discourage you!!! healing process is different with everyone. especially vaginal my cousin has the WORSE recovery pain with a vaginal one. but everyone is different
I've had 2 c-sections and I wanted nothing more than to be able to push my babies out naturally. you might want to at least try before choosing to have a c-section recovery is the worst!
it goes back to normal after tho. its not that bad honestly, if you were to rip, you wouldn't feel anything and it doesn't hurt when the baby comes out, if anything you only feel pressure. and recovery time at the hospital is only one day, you can walk and use the bathroom, with no problems where as with csection you have to have a cathiter put in which can cause infections and you have to stay longer in the hospital and its harder for you to even get up and get the baby. I say go vaginally and the csection if the baby is stuck or something else happens.
aww yu can do it @analysahdz at least try. I've had two csection and not because I wanted to. I wanna try to push this baby out. the healing process is different and longer when yu have a csection.
Being that I had a c section, I can say firsthand that the recovery is painful, but within 2 weeks you feel almost 100% back to normal! Just do what you feel is right for baby and you!@analysahdz
I'm just scared of the whole labor part and my vagina stretching @kelseys @gabbielou
Same:/ I'm terrified of giving birth vaginally.
