Anyone had to take progesterone?

I take it because I was low in progesterone before pregnancy and if it gets too low it could lead to miscarriage for me during the first trimester. I also took it with my last pregnancy and everything turned out well. Had my son at 41 weeks. Hopefully it will be the same this time around. Best of luck!

Yes I had my first two at 34 and 35 weeks... I had my new baby at 38 and 2 days

Definitely pray and since you're shortened pay attention to cramps even mild when mine was shortening I cramped take it super easy don't stress your body! Please because you're vulnerable right now and any irritation will make you shorten more and start dilation

@rhonda.otero, I take the vaginal one. Does it really keep the baby up there to prevent preterm labor???

I didn't take that I get a shot weekly I really can't say it totally worked because my cervix shortened while on it and I am already dilated and effaced as well I've been stable I haven't checked in weeks but I will next week to see how I'm going my pessary which is like a cerclage but not stitching it's literally a silicone ring put in at the tip of your cervix it holds you up I mean it's kept me pregnant and also I don't pee myself anymore lmao but I know once I'm off everything my body won't hold itself

I had the shots weekly from 17 to 36 weeks

@mimiz, they started me on it yesterday because they said my cervix was short. I take the vaginal one. Do it really work??

I take it because I have a weak cervix I can't pass 20 weeks without dilation I lost my first baby then so they started me at 16 weeks and I'm on it until 36 weeks I dilated and effaced still but I also have a pessary in that helped as well it helps many people but not everyone unfortunately

I do daily. Until I hit 14 weeks.

Me weekly
