Am I the only one who's not breastfeeding?!?
@sarahdrew, Thanks luv you do the same!
you are welcome mama..... you keep up the good work ☺
@prettyprego, I'm sorry you had a bad experience ... in my opinion if you are doing what works for your family and the baby is fed then that is what is best for the baby
@armanimommy711, Of course she will! I can honestly say I didn't breastfeed with my last two and they never really got sick!
@armanimommy711, Yes I had bad experiences with it myself!
@sarahdrew, That's awesome! I know it's good for the baby but I had past bad experiences!
@baby6aryn, Lol! Yes it is very convenient!
@shevy41906, Oh ok! Yeah it won't hurt to try!
@josy, Yes you're right and very well put! I'm a TRY just so I can say I tried and didn't give up so easily! Thank you!
@nadeah, Oh ok. You know at the hospital they going to recommend you try!
@armanimommy711, A lot of pain too!
@baby6aryn, I know the pros I did it for two years wit my daughter , it was hard to make her stop and hard to dry my milk she jus wanted it all the time and that's what I don't want again . The pain and leaking is annoying I don't want to go thru it
I wanted to try and do both, just in case I was in class and my husband needed to feed him, but my mom mentioned something that totally changed my mind about formula! I was a formula baby myself and I was ALWAYS sick! Constant ear infections and hospital visits. Later on, she breastfed my sister and she was NEVER sick and no unexpected hospital visits! I then just decided that I was gonna try breastfeeding.. and pump for when I wouldn't be home to do it. That way, he still gets the very best of all the nutrients he needs, and I won't hafta worry. I also read online about how your breast can pick up a chemical in your baby's mouth that can tell it what to produce in the milk to give the baby what nutrient it is most deficient in at that time. Pretty cool!
I want to say on here it's about 50/50... I do but I am going to be trying to wean her (I know I will be told to let her wean herself but I set out with the intention of going longer than I did with my son, which was 2 months of pumping, I have now breastfed for almost 6 months)
@armanimommy711, it actually is a lot easier than bottle feeding in my opinion, no bottles or nipples to wash and sanitize, no mixing formulate. No wondering if you had the milk too long. No getting up in the middle of the night to make bottles, heat up bottles, and trying to mix bottles when on the go, and a lot more as well. But the very best thing I love about breastfeeding is, at night we can lay in bed while Baby feed and I can fall back to sleep while baby eats 😃
I'm going to do it. But in my mind it seems weird to let them latch on, so I said I'm going to pump. That's the least I can do.
if u plan to stay home for a year or more than its not bad. I did it until my daughter almost turned 3. she didn't take formula either. I just kept giving it to her and I produced enough. I think that the more u pump or let them suck the more you will produce. if u want ur child to be attached than its also great to do. my daughter is 10 and she is still attached to me as far as wanting to be close and sometimes even near. she still wants me to tuck her in for bedtime too. 😊 overall breast feeding isn't that bad. it isn't easy to do if ur trying to go to work daily though. sometimes the baby will cry and miss you. I say for the new moms to try it and if it doesn't work out than just give only the formula. there are some really great things in breastmilk for the baby so try ur best to give it to your babies. key word is try. if u tried already and it didn't work than no worries your still an awesome mom. if ur having another baby than try again with this one. every child is different. good luck ladies
I was going to but I really don't want to anymore , just too much work
@gracesmommy16, 😂 I agree I'm not comfortable with it myself!
@lil_bigmama, Ok and you do have a point! Thanks.
nah- don't feel bad. I don't feel comfortable with it....and I'm not putting myself in that kinda situation I'm not ok with...nope. 😂
Good morning to u & don't as long as ur baby is eating that's all that matters
@stosha717, @lil_bigmama @gracesmommy16 Good morning ladies! Now I don't feel bad! Lol!
Goodmorning 😘 and same for me it just isn't for me
@abombmomof2, Lol! GM boo! I was going to try it but I tried with both my pregnancies and it didn't work for me!
Imma try it but don't see myself sticking with it honestly
☺ thank you to you well hun @prettyprego
