Yea sounds just like what happens to me and it's happen with every pregnancy for me after about thirty minutes it stops for me

Give it a day and see if it feels better. That happened to me, and then the next day I was so swollen it felt like I had a tampon in the wrong way or something. But the day after it was fine.

Is it just because down there is more sensitive. This is my first pregnancy so I'm not sure how everything should feel right now.

It's totally normal. It has something to do with your veins down there , I experienced the same and my nurse to me put a cold rag with ice down there keep it there till the swelling goes down.. and for the irritation put a&d ointment on it not the inside the outside @mommy2be102016
