my newborn, who is almost one month has shown symptoms of colic. I'm a FTM.
Any advice?
I love her so much, but she's driving me nuts cause I'm doing everything I can to comfort her 😩😩😩😩
Tell me if I'm wrong here. My husband's sil has covid. She's obviously quarantining in her house but is still loving on her kids and husband. I'm sorry but if I had it I would lock myself in a room. She hasn't gotten her kids tested... they're obviously doing the whole remote learning and quarantining for two weeks but she plans to send them back without testing them on the Monday after Thanksgiving 😬😱. My husband thinks I'm overreacting but I told him I don't want to see them on Christmas. I'm in the middle of iui cycles and don't want to risk this. Besides I don't think I could sit in a room with her knowing how irresponsible she has been not only with her family's health but those that are coming into contact with her and her family.

my mother was in labor with me for 3 hours & im her first and only child. i hope I'm the same way😩
My doctor said he would induce my labor at 38 weeks, if my baby girl still had growth issues and if the percentile dropped to 10 or less. Last thursday, it was 10 percentile, and he said if she didn't come on her own by 38 weeks, he would induce labor at that time. I'm 36 weeks 1 day today, he said my cervix was super thin, and 1cm dilated. Is there a possibility this can change... that my doctor will let her just come on her own? I don't want to be induced, i would much rather her come on her own when she is ready to come ! As much as I am anxious to meet her and have her home with me, those last few weeks of brain development and lung maturation means so much more to me! I'm hoping and praying that things turn around, and I don't have to get induced. I'm surely going to talk to my doctor about it Thursday when I go back.

Burp her every ounce to 2 ounce during feeding time & hold her up right faced outwards to burp her with no pressure on her tummy.
