girl that's exactly what I was thinking! now a days no one even sees anything in the locker room, the bathrooms have stall doors, and the showers have curtains. and it really doesn't, honestly I totally agree with you I feel like it's better to not just cuz it's natural & it doesn't look bad. it looks normal, like its protective and I'm pretty sure that's why it's there you know? like when my husband was showing me what it looked like pulled back as if he would have had it done, I feel like it would hurt honestly. plus I read that it's more of a chance for it to be crooked and slanted and such if you get it done , but you totally made me make up my mind about what I think , I was kinda iffy but now I know where I stand. @kelseys
that's literally the same thing my husband said! lol getting it done actually makes it smaller too! and like the other comment says like it looks nasty if it isn't done 😒😒 not at all, and I honestly doubt children will make fun of each other in a locker room over having it done or not, they aren't naked, they still have underwear on, and I don't think that's something they even talk about.
yeah my husband isn't and everyone says it's so bad cuz of the skin and his is barely covering the tip so it doesn't look bad and I feel like it would be kind of protective over such a sensitive area, he said he couldn't imagine being because it protects from the tip rubbing on his pants and stuff , I don't think I'd get my boys done @kelseys
uncircumcised. my oldest is and his penis honestly looks horrible where the skin was cut, he's 4yrs old and its still purple! my youngest son isn't and I've had no problems with him. but to be honest to be circumcised isn't really recommend by doctors, and it doesn't make a difference in it being cleaner like everyone says. its actually a myth that they they're cleaner, won't get infections or STDs. they can still get it just as much as an uncircumcised boy. in fact when doctors say it doesn't hurt the baby, it actually does, they have to strap the baby's arms and legs down while doing it, they get a numbing shot but can still feel it all just not as strong, and they scream and cry when its done. and they lose feeling in their penis when they're old enough to have sex. my husband isn't done so I've decided to let him decide what to do if we have anymore boys. my oldest had it done because I had just turned 15 and that's what my mom said to do, I didn't know anything about it till recently and I will never get any of my boy if I have anymore circumcised
as long as you keep your child clean and teach him proper hygiene you won't have any issues!! my children are not circumcised and I've never had any issues your child learns cleanliness and proper hygiene at a very young age which is a great thing because it follows them into adult hood!!!
I believe circumcised just because it's easier to teach a young boy how to clean it. My sister has a hard time teaching her boys to pull back the skin and clean it properly.
I circumcised both of my boys. I don't regret it at all. I know there are pros and cons both ways, but I would do it again.
@savvylynn1, it's more common so he's not going to stand out in the locker room during school years, cleaner, less risk of infections. just my preference if I have a son
My doctor said its more of psychological thing. The bond they will have with the father.
circumcised cause just know when he get grown don't no woman want a man with that extra skin it's gross but I know some people don't believe in it religious why but I seen a grown uncircumcised penis I bout died lmao
i ask eveyone who had a boy! best advice i got n like was do whatever the dad is tht way the dad can teach his right n dad will understand what ur son is goin thru! theres pro n cons to both..@savvylynn1,
I never paid any attention yo how the look till my son was done and I had to tell my husband that he wasn't since he didn't know. but my sons is purple where they cut the skin and actually looks like there's a scar, kind of like burnt melted skin, don't know how to explain but I think whoever did it, did a bad job, he's starting to explore his body as always asks why its like that. with the baby I was so scared of not having it done, and had to ask the doctor about cleaning it. he said to clean it as I would my oldest, just wipe, don't pull the skin back because when they go thru puberty it will do it on its own, I never knew that. yeah but never make up your mind when people say to do something to your baby, there's always risks, have to do your research and ask people, like just YouTube the videos. there's a show called Ben and Teller; Bullshit and they made a episode about it and showed what really happens and the facts of it, and that its basically all myths about it being recommend, doesn't hurt, its cleaner, they show videos and it was horrible I couldn't even watch. the extra skin is used in make up products!!!!!!
