Any cloth diapering mommas out there? We got some recently cause I've always wanted to do it. We were turned off before we even started, because of needing to clean out the poo into the toilet but my sister-in-law said instead of doing that, they use homemade fleece liners and just throw out the poopy fleece liners. I thought that's a great idea and now we're back to trying it! I'm waiting for the diapers to come in the mail, bought a wet bag to hold the diapers, and plan to use my diaper genie for the dirty liners. Does anyone have any advice before we start this (hopefully) money saving journey?
Figure out if you have hard or soft water then research how to wash cloth diapers with whatever water you have. We did cloth diapers for about 6 months then I started working and could not keep up with laundry.
Any other mommies out their stocking up on diapers and wipes already... Yes I know some may disagree about doing this because the baby may break out to some or certain brands not working for us but we keep all the receipts Incase we need to return or exchange
Fleece liner and leaks?
I have tried using the fleece liner with my Totsbots AIO and I get pee pouring every which way out of the diaper each time! What am I doing wrong???
we have decided to start sleep training. we are going to use the cry-it-out method but my question is do you start with naps first or do you start with bedtime first? (please do not lecture me we have thought long and hard about letting our child cry it out and we do not need any backlash. It's a personal decision. thank you)
So I keep feeling these lil sharp pains on my right side. You do get pains like that before you start your period right.? Remember I had that dark brown spotting for a few hours last month on the 22. My period suppose to start today.
Locking your doors
We are having a discussion on one of my birth boards from my older kids about locking doors and security alarms. There are many of us (me included) who do not lock our doors at home (I actually don't even have a deadbolt on my house and we don't lock it when we leave either), and others who think that's totally weird. So what do you do? Do you lock your doors? Do you think it's weird that people don't?
No problem also there are a lot of cloth diaper groups on face book that can offer a lot of assistance
