How early did you take your babies to the swimming pool ? My daughter will be 1 this summer and I want to be able to take her swimming
@elenasmommy050315 learning to hold their breath, reaching and grabbing the side of the wall and holding on, being comfortable on their back and stretched in a backing position, saying momma. That's the very basic survival skill and it takes a little while but they won't be afraid and they will know what to do.
my son started swim classes at 6 weeks and he's now 11 months and obsessed with the water.
What safety tips would you say are important @karnamarie
I had my babies in the water at 4 months old. I start water motor skills with them and start introducing safety skills at that age
I plan on taking my daughter at around 3 months so she starts getting used to water and trying to swim because I never learned to swim and I want her to learn as early as possible.
He will be just fine! Just make sure you rinse him off right away after you take him out of the pool😊
that's fine. my son was about 5/6months when I took him in the water at the beach and the pool at the hotel.
That should be fine. I'm gonna start swimming lessons this spring and my son will be 9-10 months by then

Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...

A Statement from Mom.Life:
Hey everyone!
Last night, a new user began messaging our moms asking for private pictures of toddlers and young children. This is obviously unacceptable behavior, and the account was banned immediately. Although thankfully extremely rare on Mom.Life, several users were understandably upset by this, so we wanted to clarify a few things:
First off, Mom.Life has an absolute zero tolerance policy for child abuse and those who would prey on children. We strive to ...

So at work we have a drink thief. Any time we put a drink in the fridge it disappears. I swear I know who it is. So far he's taken drinks from everyone that works in the office, we even put a sign to not take anything you didn't pay for and wrote our names on the drinks. The person I think is taking them works out of the office so we never get to see who is drinking them.
Anyone in the Tulsa /broken arrow area that knows of swimming lessons?
