I don't know where else to go with this so please if you are just going to be mean don't read this because its going to be kind of long and I can't handle anymore negative energy.
I was with my baby's father for 9 months before I found out I was pregnant and I was absolutely head over heels in love with him even though he was mentally and emotionally abusive and sometimes physically abusive. I hid it from my family and when I told him I was pregnant he told me to have an abortion and of course I refused and two days later he put my head in a wall and refused to admit he had a problem and I still tried to make it work he spent weeks angry telling me I'm not special because I'm pregnant and that I was forcing him to be a dad and eventually the abuse just kept getting worse and I left I now live with my parents and am 21 weeks pregnant but even though he was completely horrible to me and is telling people everything was my fault and that the baby isn't his and that I'm a souless demon I am still completely heartbroken and often cry when I'm alone and my gender scan is tomorrow and i still wish he would be there I just don't know what to do.

think about the safety of your baby and just keep telling yourself things will get better because if he was like that with you there's a good chance he'll be that way with the baby and no one deserves that you're strong and you got this

Think of it this way. You loved him, and he didnt appriciate and live you or respect you because a man doesnt do that to the women he loves. Plus if you were to have a baby girl wouldnt like someone doing that to her. Im glad you got away and have family that support you. Youll find someone that loves you and your baby! Good luck! I'd do anything to protect my little one and that is why I left because I know if he'll do it to me he'll do it to my baby. @bianca_rose

I went through something very very similar with an ex. Because of him I gave up on relationships until I met my husband. The best thing to do is stay as far away as possible and protect yourself and your little miracle. Those kinds of people don't bring anything good in your life. It took me 2 years to gain the courage to get out of my relationship. When I decided to leave, he started looking for me and saying he would throw himself out a window if I didn't come back. I told him i could hold the window open for him lol. He's still alive of course. It was all show. Now he has babies everywhere and thankfully i never had his child. But you be brave and strong. You did the right thing. Women don't think or see it this way but staying with a man who is physically and mentally abusive is considered child abuse and negligence when the female is pregnant. Not only would he have been charged with that - had it come to an arrest- but you would be charged with it too because you're putting a baby in danger. You did the absolute right thing for you and your baby. It is hard to see a person's flaws when you're in love, even if they're abusive, but you have your family and your baby forever and that man could not have been part of your lives forever. Just remind yourself that you are worth so much more and you are special and you're carrying someone incredibly special. You'll get through this, just be strong and pray. You're in my prayers!
