I'm having my first growth scan on Thursday this week, I'll be 25+6. Only reason for it, is that last week when midwife measured me, I'm measuring larger than my dates, so she requested one to see what's going on. Usually its just the routine scans at 12 and 20 weeks. x

@fozzywoz, I find it bizarre too, I'm not sure of the accuracy either. Midwife has her as 2 weeks ahead. Ultra sound scans are estimating her as 8 days ahead and gaining half a pound every week. 2 weeks ago she was estimated at 4.5lbs, I'd like to know how they work that out. But they never go into detail xx

Ok thanks. That makes sense. I find the whole measuring thing bizarre. Different midwifes do it from different places to a different spot. Not sure how accurate it is. @nico7 @mlk252

@fozzywoz, it depends I think, I've had growths scans twice now since 29 weeks because my girl is measuring ahead by 2 weeks. Also, I went into early labour at 28 weeks. So I think they're just keeping an eye on her incase I don't make it to term. Hope that helps x
