I totally understand @hermommy , I always ask my husband does Emorys head look ok??? then we go to the Dr and he's like "your kids have really nice round heads " and I feel better... I swore Easton had a Charlie Brown head, the perfect circle like the comic character lol
Lol okay good @nicemmcha2015 she would literally only sleep in it, Im the type that probably won't put her down lmao
it happens to babies, not all but some, no matter what they sleep in.... it's from their heads being in 1 spot for a long period of time... if you notice B laying with her head one way (left or right) a lot switch the end she lays at and see if she switches her head that way (that's what Dr told me to do if I noticed one side of my children's heads getting flat, however except for a few weeks of my son not being able to both my kids move/moved their heads side to side quite a bit)
@hermommy, that's for people who never pick their kid up for any reason and leave them laying in the same position hours on end all day long. it can deform their heads. but as long as you're picking them up to eat and change they'll be fine. our 1st lived in a swing for the first 3 months of her life because it's the only way she would sleep. but I got her out to nurse and change her and hold her so she was never affected.
@hermommy, If you're not switching their heads position while they sleep they can develop flat head
@theinkedmommy okay good what's this flat head people are talking about?
@hermommy, ooh yeah now I know I had to google to refresh my mind lol but yet they can sleep there
Keira slept in a rock n play for like the first 4-5 months of life:) And Emmett will too. I love how there inclined so you dont have to worry about choking on puke. (Keira had severe acid reflux)
