Can someone answer my previous post about baby dropping early, please.

I'm on baby #4, I was wondering if its possible for baby to start dropping as early as 27 weeks. My last didn't start dropping till 33-34 weeks and he was born at 37+6 weeks. Was just a little curious and concerned. @mariemaverick

You could probably drop early but doesn't mean that the baby will come early. I dropped early with second pregnancy but still didn't have her until 39weeks. You could always call your dr tomorrow and ask. @bri31212

I think I might, idk just a little worried lol I went into preterm with my last one at 32w, 34w, and 36w. @mariemaverick

Well hopefully that won't happen with this one. Are they monitoring you more? They should since you had preterm labor. They can also tell with an ultrasound if you will have preterm labor.

my last ultrasound was at 20+4 and my cervix was still high and closed. I'm seeing a midwife with this pregnancy so there's not much monitoring. @mariemaverick

Oh wow I'm surprised they wouldn't keep monitoring you. Well maybe she can see if your dilated so you know if the baby is coming. @bri31212

I'm going to call and talk to them tomorrow, I never even thought to ask tbh. I hope they can give me answers. @mariemaverick
