Is it weird to get married, but not really FULLY celebrate it/ have a wedding & ceremony until down the road?
Most people get ENGAGED and that's it until the wedding, but we've been talking about getting full blown married and still celebrating down the road, traditionally.
Opinions ladies?
We planned on going to courthouse and then having a regular wedding and everything later on its what fits you and what you want to do. If you guys love each other and know that's who you want to be with then why wait.. Have you wedding later.
we got married at the justice of the peace. my mom was still in her work uniform and my husband wore jeans. lol we went out to eat (just us) & went home and fell asleep. (we both worked all day) we plan on having a nice wedding one day. but we are saving our money for a good lawyer to help us get shared custody of his girls.
we both want the tradtional wedding, it's important to both of us, I guess because we come from families that don't do that or anything else traditionally/ normally.
forget the ring, that dress and tuxedo is gonna be on and poppin haha.
i never wanted a wedding an expensive ring or anything i just want to go to the courthouse and call it a day ! the only thing that matters is i have a life long mutually faithful and loving relationship do what makes you happy
My husband and I got married at the justice of the peace after only being engaged for 3 months... We didn't rally want a big wedding but we knew we loved each other and we wanted to get married... I think marriage should be about LOVE not a wedding, you guys can celebrate in whatever you want to wether it's soon or years later! We don't plan on having a wedding until we renew our vows on our 5th wedding anniversary!
My parents did the same thing, have yet to have a real wedding after all of these years!
Either of us want to celebrate it at all until an actual wedding though. that's what's kinda throwing me off, like oh yeah everybody, friends and family, we are now husband and wife. but we'll randomly in a year or so contact you for a wedding invite.. idk I think I'm thinking too deeply on it lol
my husband & I got married at a courthouse with just close family there. we plan on having a big wedding (technically it will be a vow renewal) for our 5 year wedding anniversary in 2019 😊

My husband and I aren’t exactly strangers when it comes to relationship challenges 💞. We have been together for 14 years and married for eight, so we’ve definitely gone through some growing pains as we navigated a long-distance relationship in college and our first year living together as a married 👫 couple.
But nothing has challenged our relationship quite like our first year as 👪 parents .

“You look too young to be a mom!”
Or how about …
“You have a BABY? No! You look like a baby yourself!”👶
Oh wait, here’s a good one …
“Are you the nanny, ooor … ?”
“No, yeah I’m his mom,” I’d reply. “Yes, I am young,” I’d agree.
Considering I got pregnant straight out of college, I was certainly on the younger end of the parenting spectrum. (No one was more surprised than me, I assure you.) And yet, I wasn’t exactly a teen mom. I wasn’t juggling school courses and motherhood, like so many s...

My August baby decided she wanted to be a May baby like her big sister. Madison Noelle was born on Tuesday, May 24 at 3:50pm, weighing 2lbs, 13oz and 14". She was born at 27 weeks and has a long road ahead of her. Every day she has been getting stronger and amazing everyone. Please keep us in your prayers, my family and I have a long road ahead of us. Congratulations to everyone and I wish you all wonderful pregnancies and deliveries! ??❤️

Not not at all. We got married in a small local church just me, him, and the preacher and a witness. We have had no celebration, we took pictures which I wanted do and will be going to cabo San Lucas in May for a baby moon but that's it. He had to go to work after. 😂 so it's about the marriage in my eyes not the wedding.
