Does everyone make an announcement thru Facebook that their pregnant and how do I mention a baby…

this is what I did. then for the baby shower, I did like an event thing and now I am sending invites out to family members who dont have facebook. I hope I was able to help

I decided not to tell anyone just to keep it private till my baby born ..

I'm very weird and don't like social media but my family keeps telling me to make a post on Facebook it's a big deal for me lol how did you tell people about your baby shower and stuff ? Did you message them all personally ?
