UPDATE #2: My mom is now in her room and doing good. Me and my son and my oldest sister will be headed up there in the next hour. Thank you everyone for the prayers. Just to be sure please keep them coming that the healing process is quick and easy. TIA
UPDATE: My mom is out of surgery and is in recovery for about an hour to an hour and a half.
I would like to take a second and ask for prayers and positive thoughts as my mom goes in for surgery at 2:20pm. She is already at the hospital waiting for the doctor with my older sister and my baby sister. She is having her thyroid taken out due to one side being 4cm and the other 3cm. Due to the general area it's at there is a chance of cutting the main artery or vocal cords. I've been good the entire time until last night and realized there is a chance I could lose my mom and she won't see my daughter. My fiancé was unable to take the day off which makes it even worse and refuse to take my 2yo son the hospital. If we could get prayers and positive thoughts that everything goes well that would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
That's good. I'm glad she's okay. My mom just called and they said when they cut open the thyroid there was 2 cancer cells growing in it but since it was contained inside there's nothing to worry about but thank god they removed it when they did.
@rochelleyayy, good she's home now and relaxing on the couch. They didn't do stitches they did terry tape so it comes off when it's ready.
How is she doing? My mom is having her stitches removed today.
@rochelleyayy, that's exactly what they did. One was 4cm the other was 3cm. They told her that the first week her voice might sound a little hoarse. They are keeping her over night to keep an eye on her to make sure she doesn't bleed. And thanks a lot. I'm
My mom just had her whole thyroid removed exactly a week ago. One side was the size of a baseball and the other was as long as a sweet potato. They told her it looked like cancer but once they removed it they said no cancer! It's been a week and she's having her stitches removed tomorrow. She's been recovering well and fast! The first couple hours after surgery her voice was rough and she cleared her throat a lot but the next day she was eating solid food and talking normal. Your mom will do just fine. Prayers for a speedy recovery like my mom
Terrible 2's and 3's!
My services have been requested. This is for the moms of toddlers. You are not alone! If you are struggling with tantrums and acting out then chances are your child is needing attention, not punishment. There are lots of different things that can trigger a meltdown, but the root cause is typically the same.

My husband and I aren’t exactly strangers when it comes to relationship challenges 💞. We have been together for 14 years and married for eight, so we’ve definitely gone through some growing pains as we navigated a long-distance relationship in college and our first year living together as a married 👫 couple.
But nothing has challenged our relationship quite like our first year as 👪 parents .

“You look too young to be a mom!”
Or how about …
“You have a BABY? No! You look like a baby yourself!”👶
Oh wait, here’s a good one …
“Are you the nanny, ooor … ?”
“No, yeah I’m his mom,” I’d reply. “Yes, I am young,” I’d agree.
Considering I got pregnant straight out of college, I was certainly on the younger end of the parenting spectrum. (No one was more surprised than me, I assure you.) And yet, I wasn’t exactly a teen mom. I wasn’t juggling school courses and motherhood, like so many s...

My August baby decided she wanted to be a May baby like her big sister. Madison Noelle was born on Tuesday, May 24 at 3:50pm, weighing 2lbs, 13oz and 14". She was born at 27 weeks and has a long road ahead of her. Every day she has been getting stronger and amazing everyone. Please keep us in your prayers, my family and I have a long road ahead of us. Congratulations to everyone and I wish you all wonderful pregnancies and deliveries! ??❤️
That's good. Hope things get better from here on out. @rochelleyayy
