I had my membranes stripped at my appt today...has anyone else done this and gone into labor soon after? I know baby will come when she's ready...but just curious if it actually works or not!
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no, his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me and did something else with an other girl.... and it's 10:51 am now and he hasn't texted me at all. and after he dropped me off I texted him saying what I felt and nothing. I don't know if I'm over reacting or what or what should i do. do i wait until he text me?
Hi I am into my 15 week now But since last two days am not having good feeling....I just feel something is wrong inside wid d kid...all my symptoms r too less Morning sickness is gone....Metallic taste of my tounge is also less....and I feel pain in my abdoman twice or thrice which is very minor though What should i do i am very confused Already have gone through 5 scans because of changing gynec Just feel that untill i hear the heartbeat or see my kid i wont b ok....got sleepless nights

Why do they strip the membrane? what does that do? sorry, If that's a dumb question!

But definitely keep moving. I had sex as soon as I got home from my appointment and I think that helped. Then I relaxed for a bit and felt the first contraction and got up that was like 6:30pm and I paced and squatted and bounced until 10pm and finally went in

With my first son I had them stripped at 37 38 and 39 weeks and he still came on his due date exactly lol. My second son, I had them stripped at 37 weeks and was in labor 4 hours later. I think it just depends :)

I had mine stripped and went into labor the same night but my doctor thought contractions every 4 minutes apart and 5 and 1/2 cm dilated wasn't good enough for her so I was sent home and came back that very night at 9 and 1/2 cm dilated and contractions every 1-2 minutes apart

I had mine done on a Friday and Sunday night around 8 pm my water broke as I was in the pot. It started slow and by 830 my shoes was soaked as I was checking in at the w'e.r

if you pace walk for 2 hours straight (I know that's a long time) its suppose to have you dialate more and labor could begin tonight if not tomorrow
