So I'm supposed to be measuring 27 weeks but i went in today and they said I was measuring at 30 weeks. Does this mean my due date will be sooner or that my baby is just a little chunky monkey?
They say after 24 weeks, genetics and environmental factors start to come into play, each baby will grow differently now, and that's why ultrasounds are no longer a reliable measurement to determine how far along the baby is. So it's still safe to say you are 27 weeks, your baby is just growing.
When I was 20 weeks her arms and legs were messuring at 22 weeks so they did bump up my due date from june 6th to june 1st... not too much of a bump but still a couple days earlier :)
