Pros and cons of having a c section?
I'm really nervous because my baby is measuring big and my doctor doesn't think I'll open up to be able to push him out vaginally...
Pros: you don't have to push a baby out of your vagina. Lol. When you're recovering it won't hurt to apply pressure to your vaginal area. You won't tear. You won't be in labor for an unknown amount of time. Cons: it's major surgery. It hurts trying to sit upright. You'll have a scar. To be honest I preferred my c section over my vaginal birth. My induction with my first was awful and traumatizing. The c section was an emergency one at 29 weeks but I bled for less time and was off major pain pills quicker than with my vaginal delivery.
I have too. my mom gave birth to my little sister and she was 10 lbs but for some reason when I was checked at the doctors my cervix wasn't open or anything.. they switched my due date from March 31st to march 18th and yet I'm still pregnant... @jenidoll
cons recovery for sure. I have a very high pain tolerance and so I have been able to get thru the day without drugs for a while, but I still need one to be able to sleep.
it is, it's major abdominal surgery. but as cliche as it sounds, seeing your baby makes every ounce of pain worth it
